Carl Greenberg, Ph.D.
Senior Consultant
Carl Greenberg is an organizational psychologist with primary focus on talent management and assessment. He is known for his experience in developing measurement systems to evaluate the effectiveness of people, jobs, teams, business processes, and organizations. Carl also conducts individual executive assessments for selection and development (along with executive coaching). He has consulted with many of the Fortune 500 companies and federal government departments and agencies.
Carl held executive consulting roles at Aon and Spherion, where he developed talent acquisition and selection, organizational and leadership development, and recruitment process outsourcing solutions. He previously held HR positions at Southwestern Bell Telephone (now AT&T) and Union Pacific Railroad, where he designed and implemented numerous assessment processes for hiring and leadership development. He also led company wide employee and customer survey operations. Carl’s early career was in academia, where he directed the Industrial-Organizational Psychology doctoral program at University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Carl holds both an M.A.in Psychology and a Ph.D. in Social and Organizational Psychology from Wayne State University (Detroit, MI).
Carl is a licensed psychologist and the past president of the Society of Psychologists in Management and the Gateway Industrial Organizational Psychologists professional organizations. He continues to share his wealth of knowledge of HR as a speaker at professional human resource and psychology meetings as well through his writings, which have been published in numerous professional journals.
