Certification Workshop is a Success!

Burke LAI Assessment Suite



And fun.

That’s how participants described the first of many Burke Learning Agility Assessment™ Suite Certification Workshops, held Oct. 3-5 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.

The two-day workshop gave participants – potential users of the Burke assessment tools – a rich understanding of learning agility and how it affects leaders and individual contributors in organizations dealing with change.

And in today’s volatile world, change is something with which every organization should be prepared to handle. Considering that learning agility describes, in large part, a person’s ability to quickly adapt ideas or behaviors, it’s not surprising that those with high scores on the Burke Learning Agility Inventory (Burke LAI) perform better in leadership roles.

The training covered how both of EASI•Consult’s Burke LAI™ – a self-report tool – and their 360 Degree Burke Learning Agility Survey can be used for selection, promotion, development, coaching, succession planning and organization development.

Participants were provided with background reading, discussion and lecture, and these were augmented with case studies, role-playing and participant presentations on how their organizations would benefit from the Burke assessment tools.

Those attending included: Paul Coz, VP of Human Resources Gorton’s Seafoods; Lori Lewis, Ph.D., Peabody Energy’s VP of Talent Management, and Erin Laxson, Senior Consultant at Hogan Assessments.
